Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Multiple Rehabilitation Settings – Multiple Texas Locations
This position is reserved exclusively for licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). If you are not a COTA, please do not apply.
Relient Health is seeking licensed COTAs for full‑time, in‑person opportunities within established rehabilitation departments across Texas. These positions are full‑time, direct‑hire, permanent placements (not travel, not contract, not PRN).
Our openings include Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), retirement communities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, pediatric settings, and home health, depending on the specific location.
Current COTA Openings Available In:
Arlington, Cedar Park, Dalhart, Gonzales, Pasadena, and additional Texas markets.

- Licensed Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants

- Recent graduates from accredited OTA programs pursuing Texas licensure
- COTAs seeking experience in SNF, ALF, retirement communities, hospital‑based rehab, outpatient, pediatric, home health, or mixed‑setting rehabilitation roles
This role is specific to licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants practicing within a rehabilitation department and is not a CNA, nursing assistant, medical assistant, therapy aide, or non‑licensed support role.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive statewide COTA salary range: $27–35 per hour (compensation varies by market, setting, and experience).

Clinical Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Deliver high‑quality occupational therapy services in a rehabilitation setting
- Assist patients with ADLs, functional skills, safety, and independence
- Document patient care in EMR systems per state, federal, and facility standards
- Collaborate with OTs, rehab staff, nursing teams, and interdisciplinary care providers
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
- Active Texas COTA license, or eligibility/pending licensure
- Ability to work full‑time in one of the listed Texas markets
- Authorized to work in the United States
