Job Summary:

Manages a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic, ensuring quality patient care and departmental efficiency. Supports medical staff, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and promotes professional development within the department.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead and coordinate clinical operations to deliver effective physical therapy services.
  
  
• 
  Conduct skilled evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  
  
• 
  Optimize department revenue streams while managing expenses to maintain financial health.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all corporate, state, and federal guidelines governing physical therapy practice.
  
  
• 
  Oversee orthopedic specialty clinic activities, including referral screening and prioritization.
  
  
• 
  Support staff professional growth and promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least four years of active, full-time patient care experience.
  
  
• 
  Be licensed in good standing as a Physical Therapist in Alaska.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong communication skills, including proficiency in reading, writing, and presenting complex information.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit computer proficiency, including MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  
  
• 
  Display ability to apply clinical reasoning in complex patient care scenarios and administrative tasks.
