Registered Veterinary Technician - Campus Veterinary Clinic Location: Berkeley, California. The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00 - $36.00 per hour, based on experience, education, certifications, and location. Responsibilities We are currently hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail‑oriented, and a team player who loves pets and enjoys working in a fun, supportive environment. Key responsibilities include: Rooming patients, assisting in surgery, and operating equipment. Drawing blood and running bloodwork; handling x‑rays and proper positioning. Proper animal handling, restraint, and fear‑free training. Educating clients and providing clear information about procedures. Maintaining a positive, motivating presence on the team. Qualifications Registered Veterinary Technician with a current state license. Knowledge of industry tools and equipment. Passion for working with animals and their owners. Ability to learn proper animal handling, fear‑free training, and restraint. Ability to learn common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting.
