Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

2026–2027 School Year

ProCare Therapy is seeking a General Education Teacher to support a 5th/6th grade combination classroom during the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

August 3, 2026 – June 7, 2027
Full-time
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (Wednesdays are early release)
5th/6th grade combination classroom
6.5 hours of planning time per week
1 position available

Requirements

Active California Teaching Credential required
Must be bilingual (Spanish)
BILA authorization (formerly BCLAD) preferred

Job Responsibilities

Provide instruction in a 5th/6th grade combination classroom
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards
Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student achievement
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Pay

$38-44/hr (based on experience, credentials, and caseload)
