Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. #CommercialBankingIn this role, you will:Participate in performing financial research, underwriting, and structuring of highly complex private banking as well as consumer and mortgage relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional areaReview and research business financial statements and tax returns that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factorsResolve moderately complex issues and lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, to meet project deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid level managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects and teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individualsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience in Healthcare, Higher Education and Nonprofit Lending sectorsAbility to quickly evaluate direct and operating exposure situations on short deadlines driven by the RFP processAdvanced credit structuring and portfolio analysis skills, with ability to evaluate complex and unique lending situationsDemonstrated experience leading cross‑functional initiatives involving Credit, Risk, Relationship Management, and OperationsStrong understanding of commercial credit policy, regulatory considerations, and risk rating methodologiesProven ability to mentor and guide peers or junior portfolio managers in underwriting quality, portfolio monitoring, and credit decisioningStrong communication skills, with ability to present complex credit findings and recommendations to leaders and credit partnersJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the time This position does not support Visa SponsorshipAbility to work a hybrid work scheduleSpecific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
