Nurse Manager Cardiac Stepdown & CVICU Full Time

Responsibilities The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of the unit. The Nurse Manager directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff, and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director, Nursing. The Nurse Manager integrates evidence-based practice using the nursing process and demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Job Information Full-time Nurse Manager position over Cardiac Stepdown and Cardiac ICU. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. Minimum 3 years of progressive management experience. Qualifications Graduation from accredited school of nursing. BSN, required. Current RN licensure in Florida. Current BLS through American Heart Association. Current ACLS through American Heart Association. Current NIH Stroke Certification.
