Job Title : Database lead with JavaJob Location : Denver CO(Onsite from Day 1)Duration : 12+ MonthsScroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button.Job Description:We are seeking a Lead Cloud Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience to drive database modernization, manage high-performance OLTP platforms, and lead enterprise analytics architecture.Core RequirementsRelational Databases: 8+ years with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL (RDS), database design, performance tuning to millisecond response, high availability, and replication.Data Warehousing: 4+ years with Snowflake building enterprise analytics platforms.Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with Python, Talend (job design/orchestration), and AWS EMR to build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.Architecture & Migration: Strong background in cloud migration, distributed databases, data modeling, and API integration.Data Governance: Understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage.Development Skills: Strong SQL skills and foundational Java experience.Operations & LeadershipProduction Support: Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow).Leadership: Proven ability to mentor teams, drive technical strategy, and lead discussions with business stakeholders.Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and technical documentation.Preferred QualificationsAWS and Snowflake certifications. xhyhwjd Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
