We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN opportunity at Skyview Rehab and Nursing. This flexible position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys providing individualized care and helping residents strengthen communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals
• Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Monitor resident progress and adjust interventions based on response to treatment
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and safe swallowing strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
