The position involves working in an operating room setting. The unit includes 11 operating room suites. The number of cases per day ranges from 30 to 40. Charge nurse responsibilities may be involved. Familiarity with the Epic electronic medical record system is required. The schedule includes no call requirements. There is a potential for 2-3 call shifts in a 6-week schedule. Response times for trauma calls are 20 minutes and 30 minutes for non-trauma calls. Scrubbing is a required skill for this position. The dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs. Unit-specific orientation is provided. The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Experience in multiple surgical specialties is preferred, including neuro, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gynecology, urology, ENT, robotics, and plastics.
