Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Inspect circuit card assemblies using established inspection methods, manufacturing specifications, and IPC standards to verify product quality. Evaluate solder connections and conformal coating while interpreting engineering documentation and utilizing precision measuring equipment. Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns to support manufacturing operations.

*Must be a U.S. Citizen
*$19.00 - $28.00 Hourly OT40
#Education & Job Requirements
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent*2+ years of experience with soldering and coating inspection experience
*2 - 4 years of experience with Visual Inspection, IPC-A-610, and IPC-J-STD
*2 - 4 years of experience reading engineering drawings
*2 - 4 years of experience using precision measuring devices
*1 - 2 years of experience with documentation skills, working as a team player
*Proficiency in navigating IPC standards and applying accept/reject criteria
*Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision-controlled documents, and work instructions
*Proficiency in using personal computers and communicating quality defects effectively with all levels of operations
*Candidates must successfully complete a medical examination
*Candidates must complete the required prescreening questionnaire prior to submission
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
#Job Duties & Functions
*Inspect solder connections and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies.
*Verify products meet IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
*Interpret process instructions, engineering drawings, inspection instructions, and checklists.
*Utilize dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, and other measuring devices during inspections.
*Evaluate circuit card assemblies against manufacturing and industry specifications.
*Determine accept or reject criteria using IPC standards.
*Document inspection results in accordance with established procedures.
*Communicate quality defects to manufacturing personnel.
*Support production quality objectives through accurate visual inspections.
*Maintain compliance with applicable manufacturing specifications and reference documents.
#Physical Requirements & Environment
*Work onsite in Clearwater, Florida.
*Support a 4/10 second shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.
*Work overtime, including weekends, as required.
*Successfully complete required medical and vision testing.
