Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Postpartum

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years postpartum experience
- Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required (IV start skills expected)
- Required certifications: BLS, IV certification
- EPIC experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Support breastfeeding and educate patients on newborn care and postpartum recovery.
- Administer medications and perform IV starts and maintenance as needed.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and provide discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions accepted only
- Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
- Urgent Ohio fingerprinting required after contract signing
- References: Two professional references required, including one from a manager or formal supervisor
- RTO required with submission.
