Shift Manager

Location: Ashburn (457) Language requirement: English Brand: Moe's Southwest Grill Position: Full Time Summary The Shift Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of Moe’s Southwest Grill. This role ensures that the restaurant team creates quality food and provides quality guest service in a fun, fast‑paced environment while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards. Essential Functions Responsible for ensuring the restaurant team is properly trained for prep, cooking, packaging, and serving food in a timely fashion. Ensures that prepared food products meet operational, food safety, and brand standards. Manages food flow, ordering, receiving, storing, and servicing to ensure high‑quality products, proper portioning, and low waste. Coaches team on operational standards and takes corrective action as necessary. Accountable for maintaining a fun, fast‑paced atmosphere for employees and guests. Ensures that guests are greeted with “Welcome to Moe’s!” and that 100% guest satisfaction is achieved in quality, service, and cleanliness. Takes corrective action as necessary. Responsible for enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of exterior, kitchen, and dining areas. Ensures compliance with food safety and brand standards and that proper security procedures protect guests, employees, and assets. Ensures guest and employee safety to reduce injury or accidents. Completes administrative paperwork promptly. Maintains a professional image including punctuality, cleanliness, uniform, and appearance standards. Consistently exhibits actions and behaviors that best demonstrate company values; performs all other tasks as directed by company leadership and other restaurant management representatives; always represents Moe’s and Quality Fresca, LLC professionally in every aspect of performance. Other duties assigned. Education and Work Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
