Work Location: Santa Monica, CA, USA Onsite or Remote Fully On-Site Work Schedule 3 - 12 hour shifts a week, 7 days a week, days, nights, weekends and holidays: 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a Posted Date 06/01/2026 Salary Range: $93.81 - 133.97 Hourly Employment Type Duration indefinite Job # 30920 Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Stroke Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive inpatient stroke and neurologic care at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital as part of a 24/7 stroke program supporting emergency, inpatient, and critical care services. The APP functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary stroke team and participates in rapid evaluation and management of patients presenting with acute stroke and neurologic emergencies. This role includes participation in around the clock stroke coverage, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The Stroke APP collaborates closely with neurology attendings, emergency medicine physicians, nursing, pharmacy, rehabilitation services, radiology, and hospital operations to support timely, evidence based stroke care and optimize patient outcomes.
