Loan & Treasury Operations Specialist

The Senior Loan and Treasury Operations role will report to the Director of Finance and have a dotted line reporting relationship with the Director of Asset Management. This hybrid role will have both loan administration and treasury operations responsibilities. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, they will work closely with team members from all internal departments as well as external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Loan Administration Own loan lifecycle activities, which may include developing new methodologies and processes for new types of investments. These activities include booking new transactions, amendments, and other restructurings, funding coordination, invoicing, rate setting, income and expense processing, and cash reconciliations. Review, understand, and manage legal documentation for loan onboarding and ongoing administration purposes. Deliver loan data and participate in developing specifications for proprietary systems. Respond to borrower audit requests for loan information. Generate investor and due diligence reporting on portfolio performance. Treasury Operations Execute daily cash positioning, liquidity management, and bank account reconciliations. Own banking and fund financing relationships, including entering requests for funding and ensuring compliance with reporting covenants. Own fund administration and audit processes, including ticketing, reporting, and monthly/quarterly reconciliations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or greater) from an accredited institution. 8-10 years of experience with an asset management firm, private equity firm, lender, investment bank or commercial bank. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and complex data analysis. Deep knowledge of finance and treasury operations. Hands‑on experience in cash management, including cash flow projections, liquidity planning, and budgeting. Proven relationship management skills with banks, administrators, vendors, and other key stakeholders. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to creatively solve problems under pressure. Comprehensive understanding of loan products and related structures. Exceptional analytical, quantitative, time‑management, interpersonal, and communication skills. Sound judgment with the ability to navigate complex scenarios and develop actionable solutions. Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
