Travel Cath Lab Tech in Bruceton Mills, WV

Schedule/Hours:

• 4x10 Days: 7:00a-5:30p or 5x8 Days: 7:30a-4:00p, as needed
• On-call: 1 weekday & 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, including some holidays

The assignment spans 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension, and offers scrubs on site for your convenience. Utilize the latest technology-including Siemens equipment and Cerner EMR-while expanding your expertise in cardiac and vascular procedures.


What you'll do:

• Perform and assist with complex cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures (cath lab, stent placement, PCI, PTCA, IABP, Impella, angioplasty, embolization, and more)
• Monitor and document patient hemodynamic status during procedures
• Set up and maintain sterile fields, recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, and serve as room circulator and scrub tech
• Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, including PACS and supplies inventory
• Attend in-services, staff meetings, and complete mandatory competencies and ACC requirements
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and rapid response protocols

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT CI certification preferred
• BCLS and ACLS certifications (can obtain within probationary period)
• West Virginia Medical Imaging License (may start with license pending; must possess before actual start)
• 1.5-2 years' recent experience in diagnostic/interventional Cardiac Cath Lab (travel experience required)
• EP lab or Interventional Radiology experience a plus
