IP Network Engineers

This is a 6-month contract position for IP Network Engineers based in Frisco, Texas (hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot IP network infrastructure including IPv4 and IPv6 environments
• Manage and optimize network traffic, including DNS/DHCP, NTP, and network security
• Configure and troubleshoot QoS, VLANs, and ACLs using industry-standard tools
• Monitor network performance using tools such as Netflow, Solarwinds, and application response time monitoring solutions
• Support data center network environments with expertise in Leaf & Spine architecture
• Operate and maintain switches from vendors including HPE Aruba, 3com, H3C, and Arista
• Work with firewalls and security appliances from Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint

Qualifications

• Required
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline
  • 8+ years of IT/Engineering experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of IP addressing, IP traffic management, DNS/DHCP, NTP, security, and network monitoring tools
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting QoS, VLANs, and ACLs
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting tools including Netflow, Solarwinds, and application response time monitoring tools
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with HPE Aruba, 3com, H3C, Arista, and Juniper switches
  • 3+ years of experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint firewalls
  • 2+ years of experience working within data center network environments
  • Strong experience with Leaf & Spine architecture
