Sr. Full Stack Java DeveloperEdgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer to support a major national laboratory. This is a remote position and US citizenship is required per contract.ResponsibilitiesResolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.Works under limited direction; receives general instructions on new assignments. Work is evaluated upon completion.May provide limited technical direction and/or coordinate activities of other personnel.Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Determines approach to solutions, plans schedule and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.A strong background in Java, specifically the Spring framework is required.High level knowledge with Angular and MySQL databases is desired.Must be comfortable and willing to carry out test driven development.Highly-motivated and able to work well under pressureA seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of a specialized information technology (IT) field plus working knowledge of other related IT fields.About Us:Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
