Maintenance Technician I

Job TitlePerforms preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance proceduresImpact of the RoleAcquires basic skills to perform routine tasks | Develops understanding in an analytical or scientific method or operational process | Works with close supervision | Performs manual tasks according to established proceduresEssential FunctionsAssist with preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. | Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. | Assists with performing equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance. | Supports with troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. | Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system. | Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains quality standardsRequired QualificationsAttending a Vocational / Technical School or internal training program OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience or Skillset; No prior experience neededPreferred QualificationsVocational/Technical Training Degree | Technical training preferred | Ability to work as part of a team.
