What you will do

• Operate and help maintain tractors, backhoes and other cemetery equipment
• Assist with burial preparation, including grave opening and closing, funeral setup, and keeping the site safe and presentable
• Install headstone memorials to cemetery standards and family requests
• Work with the crew so services and daily maintenance stay on schedule
• Follow safety rules and treat families, visitors, and coworkers with respect

What you will bring (required)

• Experience operating a zero-turn mower and other grounds equipment
• Experience operating a tractor or similar equipment
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to do physical outdoor work and lift 75 lbs or more
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions
• Teamwork and clear communication
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays when needed

Preferred

• Backhoe experience
• Tractor Experience
• Cemetery, funeral home, or similar grounds experience
• Headstone installation or burial-site experience
• Basic landscaping and groundskeeping knowledge
• Familiarity with cemetery rules and procedures
