Civil Construction & Maintenance Engineer (Arch.MEP)The Civil Construction & Maintenance Engineer (Arch.MEP) manages assigned civil, structural, architectural, or MEP scopes from design review through construction, turnover, and lifecycle maintenance with independent ownership of assigned work. The role works across HPLS functions and external partners to deliver safe, compliant, timely, and sustainable results during project execution and ongoing operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConstruction management of building and MEP (HVAC) works.Maintenance and repair management of Building.Selection, supervision, and performance management of subcontractors.Coordination and communication with project stakeholders.Cost control.Review drawings, specifications, calculations, submittals, RFIs, and change proposals for constructability and compliance.Coordinate field execution, inspections, testing, punch-list closure, turnover documentation, and warranty follow-up.Monitor contractor safety, quality, schedule, manpower, productivity, and cost performance.Resolve field conflicts and interface issues with engineering, operations, utilities, vendors, and authorities having jurisdiction.Develop preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair plans for assigned infrastructure and facilities.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.At least 3 years of relevant professional experience; level and scope will be calibrated to demonstrated capability.Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, analyze information, document work, and collaborate across functions.Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 and job-relevant enterprise or technical systems.Ability to communicate clearly in English and work effectively in a multicultural environment.Preferred QualificationsProfessional working proficiency in both English and Korean is preferred.Industrial or heavy-manufacturing construction experience.Familiarity with applicable building codes, OSHA requirements, concrete/steel standards, and construction quality systems.PE, EIT, CCM, PMP, or relevant trade/inspection credential.Core Knowledge, Skills, and CompetenciesConstruction planning; field leadership; contract administration; cost and schedule control; quality assurance; technical documentation; stakeholder coordinationWorking Conditions and Physical RequirementsThe standard work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, work hours may be changed or adjusted based on operational, project, commissioning, emergency, or business needs. This position requires on-site work and is not eligible for remote work. Work is primarily performed at the Donaldsonville location and may include office, construction, commissioning, and/or operating-plant environments depending on assignment. Must be able to comply with site PPE, security, and safety requirements; travel between HPLS locations and vendor, partner, or project sites may be required.
