You will coordinate product shipments, maintain records, and liaise with suppliers and carriers for timely delivery. Responsibilities Coordinating and monitoring the shipment of products to ensure timely delivery Managing and maintaining accurate records of all shipping activities Liaising with suppliers, carriers and other departments to ensure smooth operations Preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs clearance paperwork Resolving any issues related to shipments, such as delays or damages Responsible for creating picklists to compile all materials for shipments. Converting Picklists to Invoices so all materials can be packaged and shipped. Pulling product from inventory to stage for shipment. Assist in packaging items for shipping when needed. Communicate changes needed on Sale Orders to ensure product ships on-time. Requirements Possess ample experience in order management, shipping, logistics, or a related field. Have excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills Have a good understanding of shipping processes and logistics Be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, multitask and priorities to meet tight deadlines Be proficient in using shipping software and other relevant tools Novanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
