Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in applicable settings License: Must have an active state RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Must have experience with charting systems, specifically Epic Description: Seeking a registered nurse for an emergency room setting. The role involves rotating between multiple clinics in the area. Nurses will care for patients with various conditions, including abdominal pain, acute psychosis, asthma, burns, and other emergencies. Experience with triage, managing violent behavior, and psychiatric holds is essential. The position requires skills in obtaining 12-lead EKGs, starting and maintaining IVs, and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. Patient ratios will be 4 during the day and 5 during the night shifts, with weekend coverage required. Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population. Previous experience in emergency medicine is preferred. Strong communication and collaborative skills are necessary for success in this role. Candidates must adhere to all safety and health regulations and organizational policies.
