Senior Water Resources Engineer

Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to support water supply, planning, and reuse projects across Florida. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex technical work, manage projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams delivering critical water solutions. Key Responsibilities Deliver water resources, water supply planning, and reuse projects. Lead studies including water supply assessments, feasibility studies, integrated water plans, conservation strategies, and reuse evaluations. Perform water demand and supply analysis, alternatives assessments, and technical reporting. Apply hydraulic, hydrologic, and hydrogeologic modelling to support infrastructure planning and design. Support the planning and design of pipelines, pump stations, storage/treatment facilities, wellfields, and other water management systems. Manage project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, quality, and client expectations. Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technical specialists across disciplines. Present technical findings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Travel may be required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 15+ years of experience in water resources engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) registration. Proven experience managing medium to large-scale engineering projects. Strong background in water supply planning, reuse, feasibility studies, and water management solutions. Experience leading teams and delivering projects within budget and schedule. Ability to solve complex engineering challenges using sound technical judgement. Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel Preferred Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Experience with ArcGIS and water modelling tools such as WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM, or Groundwater Vistas. Knowledge of wastewater and reuse systems, treatment planning, conveyance, and relevant regulations.
