AI Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking an AI Solution Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact engineering team responsible for building and scaling cloud-first, AI-enabled applications within a complex technology environment. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who can both manage engineers and actively contribute to architecture, design, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers across multiple initiatives, ensuring strong delivery, collaboration, and team health
  
  
• Act as a player-coach, contributing to architecture, technical design, code reviews, and problem-solving
  
  
• Drive delivery of cloud-native, Greenfield applications while also supporting key enhancements to existing platforms
  
  
• Champion AI-assisted development practices and help scale AI adoption across engineering teams
  
  
• Partner with leadership to align technical priorities, team capacity, and business objectives
  
  
• Manage team performance, hiring, coaching, and professional development
  
  
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, business, and operations stakeholders
  
  
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and senior leadership
  
  
• Support compliance and regulatory standards in a highly regulated environment
  
  
• Help evaluate tools, vendors, and build-vs-buy decisions that impact the broader technology strategy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  
  
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with progressive technical leadership responsibility
  
  
• Current or recent engineering management experience, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and team development
  
  
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture
  
  
• Experience building or leading development of modern applications using technologies such as Python, C#, APIs, and cloud-native services
  
  
• Experience working in AI-enabled engineering environments, including AI-assisted development tools or AI-integrated application delivery
  
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms
  
  
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Compensation: $145,000-165,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
