Job Summary: As a Promotions Crew Member at Heritage Bank Center, you will play a vital role in creating an exciting and memorable experience for fans attending Cyclones hockey games. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for engaging with fans, promoting the brand, and executing on-ice promotions that energize the crowd. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the world of sports and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fan Interactions: Engage with fans in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to enhance their overall experience at Heritage Bank Center. Answer questions, provide directions, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Brand Awareness: Act as brand ambassadors for Heritage Bank Center and the Cyclones hockey team. Promote team merchandise, upcoming events, and special promotions to increase brand recognition among fans.
• Time-Sensitive On-Ice Promotions: Assist in the execution of on-ice promotions during intermissions and breaks in the game. This includes setting up and tearing down promotional materials quickly and efficiently.
• Creating Memorable Experiences: Collaborate with the Promotions Team to develop and execute creative in-game and pre-game promotions that leave a lasting impression on fans.
• T-shirt Toss: Participate in the distribution of promotional items, including t-shirts, to fans in the arena. This involves accurate aim and crowd interaction skills.
• Fan Engagement: Encourage fans to participate in various activities, contests, and games to keep the energy level high and fans cheering loudly for the Cyclones.
• Off-site promotional events: Spread brand awareness. This includes setting up and tearing down event materials and being a great representative of the Cyclones.

Requirements:

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as Cyclones games often take place during these times.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a "fan-first" mentality.
• Willingness to actively participate in creative promotions both in-game and pre-game.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to engage with fans of all ages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry promotional items and equipment as needed.
• Previous experience in promotions, marketing, or customer service is a plus.
• Internship credit can be provided if needed for academic purposes.

Note: This position may require physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking around the arena, and carrying promotional items.
