Our organization is in search of a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist with expertise in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Position Overview:- The selected candidate will collaborate with a supportive team of six general Pathologists and two Pathology Assistants, managing two community hospitals along with several critical access facilities.
- The workload consists of a variety of cases, including biopsies, intricate resections, and non-GYN cytology, with no GYN cytology involved.
- Responsibilities will include providing frozen section coverage and participating in fine needle aspiration procedures to assess adequacy.
- Autopsies are infrequently conducted.
- While specific subspecialty training is not mandatory, experience in cytopathology or gastrointestinal pathology would be advantageous.
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, valuing collaborative relationships with clinical colleagues.
- A commitment to engaging in clinical lab management and participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards is essential.
