Senior Field Service Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to lead the commissioning, startup, and optimization of building automation systems for commercial and industrial facilities. This individual will be responsible for programming and configuring Direct Digital Controls (DDC), controllers, sensors, and other field devices, while loading, testing, and troubleshooting control software to ensure proper system functionality. The role involves setting up alarms, trending, reporting, and monitoring capabilities, as well as diagnosing and resolving issues related to HVAC controls, networking, sensors, actuators, and associated equipment. The Senior Field Service Engineer will serve as the primary technical lead on-site, working closely with customers and installation teams, communicating project updates, and ensuring systems meet all project specifications. Additionally, this person will provide training to facility managers and building operators on system operation and support projects from installation through final turnover and customer handoff.
