Radiation Therapist

Note - Travel Experience Required Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our oncology care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compassionate care throughout the treatment process. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, physicists, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety standards. Accurately position patients and verify treatment plans using imaging and simulation techniques. Monitor patients during treatment sessions and report any adverse reactions or concerns. Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional protocols. Collaborate with the oncology team to review treatment plans and make necessary adjustments. Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and safety precautions. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. Strong knowledge of radiation physics, anatomy, and oncology principles. Proficiency in operating linear accelerators and related radiation therapy equipment. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, or stereotactic radiosurgery.
