Quality Assurance Technician Details:
- Contract to Hire position
- $ 21.50 / hour
- Second Shift
- Perform quality testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, and R&D samples to ensure compliance with established specifications and food safety standards.
- Inspect incoming materials and production processes, make accept/reject decisions, place non-conforming products on hold, and communicate quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Monitor production lines and review analytical data to verify production parameters, batch mixes, component levels, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Support food safety and quality initiatives by coaching production employees on GMPs, quality standards, and best practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation by collecting production, quality, and efficiency data, updating IMS lists, and preparing reports on testing results and quality issues.
- Assist with facility inspections, audits, and plant operations, including evaluating questionable ingredients and finished products while supporting continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two or more years of experience performing quality control tests in a food, beverage, or dairy production environment
- GFSI (SQF) Experience / Knowledge
- HACCP Trained / Experience / Knowledge
