Position Details

This is a variable position offering shifts primarily on Monday and Tuesday during the day and a night shift on Wednesday.

Start Date: ASAP

Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years required.

Average Daily Census: 6-12 patients per day

Facility Overview

This position is within a small ultrasound department featuring three ultrasound rooms and one portable machine. The daily caseload may vary, providing a dynamic work environment.

Job Requirements

Certifications Required:
- ARDMS AB
- ARDMS BR*
- ARDMS OB/GYN
- BLS
- RVT*
- RDMS in AB or OB
Skills Required:
- 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester scanning
- Abdominal Aorta, Adult, Appendix examinations
- Breast Ultrasound and Cyst Aspiration
- Carotid and Doppler Studies
- Fetal Anatomical Survey
- Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Renal Artery assessments
- Thoracentesis, Ultrasound Guided Biopsy/Fine Needle Aspiration
- Vascular studies including Upper and Lower Extremity

Scheduling Details

Shift Pattern: Day shifts Monday and Tuesday, night shift Wednesday

Weekend Requirement: May be required to cover vacations, with potential weekend shifts.

Orientation Hours: To be determined based on departmental needs.

Patient Care Details

This role involves providing care for a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Additional Information

Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.

If required, communication devices necessary for job performance will be provided at no extra cost.
