Experienced Natural Gas Technician Wanted

Industrial Horsepower Plus, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced technician. Applicants should bring at least five years of direct natural gas equipment experience, with demonstrated familiarity servicing Waukesha and CAT power plants. Candidates must be comfortable using computers for diagnostics and work documentation, and have hands-on experience connecting and interpreting data from diagnostic tool interfaces. A high school diploma or GED is the minimum education requirement. Prospective hires will be required to pass drug and alcohol testing and must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

The position involves a combination of shop repairs and field service work. Technicians should be willing to work overtime and to travel out of town when assignments require. Employees are expected to furnish their own general hand tools; the company provides any specialized or heavy-duty tools necessary for a job. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and attention to safety are essential for success in this role.
