About the Position

• Performs CT and X-Ray procedures according to protocol.
• Consistently provide images of optimal diagnostic quality on patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric age group; Follow established imaging and viewing protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment in diagnostic radiology and CT procedures efficiently and effectively
• Complete quality imaging in a timely manner, effectively organizing and prioritizing work flow to meet STAT and urgent demands while continuing to meet patient standard
• Interact with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical implants, allergies, etc.
• Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology;
• Must be ARRT certified or eligible upon hire.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Computed Tomography (CT) or X-Ray – preferred.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and a problem solver and team player.
• Venipuncture experience is preferred.
• Has at least one advanced modality license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
