Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in a timely manner
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Perform procedures within the scope of emergency medicine
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Participate in continuous education and professional development activities
• Engage actively in team meetings to discuss patient management
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Hampshire
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Experience in an emergency department setting is preferred
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care

Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts

Patient Volume: 1 per hour

12 ER bays

Support Staff: Nursing, radiology tech, etc.

EMR: Meditech Expanse

Must be board-certified
