About This Role

Join our dedicated early childhood education team in Louisville, KY, as a One Year Old Room Teacher. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where toddlers can explore, play, and develop foundational skills. You will lead age-appropriate activities, manage daily classroom routines, and build strong, trusting partnerships with families to support each child's growth.

• Design and implement daily activities that promote sensory, gross motor, and social-emotional development for one-year-olds.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment adhering to state licensing regulations.
• Provide attentive care, including diapering, feeding, and managing individual nap schedules.
• Observe, document, and communicate developmental milestones and daily updates regularly to parents.

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) check.
• Must provide a negative TB skin test result.
• Previous experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of Kentucky childcare licensing requirements and early childhood standards.
