Billing Specialist
MedEx Medical Transport
Office-Billing SpecialistUnder the supervision of the Billing Manager, the Billing Specialists are responsible for the review, verification and coding of all Electronic Health Records. They work closely with the Quality Assurance and Compliance Department to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to ambulance billing and coding.This position requires strong skills in computer literacy, medical terminology and team communication.QualificationsEducation level of high school diploma at minimum2+ years experience in the healthcare field preferredExperience with billing/coding healthcare claims preferredEffective written and verbal communicationClean criminal background
