Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Industrial Electrician - $36.11 per hour - Plover, WI

Silgan Containers is hiring a full-time Entry Level Industrial Electrician for our Plover, Wisconsin plant. This is the perfect opportunity for electricians with some experience or a technical degree who want to grow in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Schedule

• Journeyman pay: $36.11 per hour
• 12 hour rotating shifts, 4 to 5 days on and 4 to 5 days off
• Rotate between days and nights each month
• Full work schedule for the entire year provided on day one

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems
• Install and wire motors, switch panels, fuse boxes, and power circuits
• Perform preventative maintenance and reduce downtime
• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and 4 to 20 mA circuits
• Collaborate with maintenance team to resolve technical issues

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience
• Three or more years of industrial electrician experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and AC DC circuits
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
