Job Description Job Description Seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and administrative support, with experience in various medical settings. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients while ensuring efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities * Assist in patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories and conducting initial assessments. * Measure and record vital signs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. * Administer medications and perform basic life support as needed. * Support physicians during examinations and procedures. * Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations. * Utilize medical terminology effectively for documentation and communication within the team. * Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. * Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare patients for X-rays or other diagnostic procedures. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including emergency medicine and geriatrics. * Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Experience Candidates should have 2 years current experience in a clinical setting, preferably with exposure to: * Pulmonology, internal medicine, or urgent care environments. * Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care practices. * Proficiency in ICD coding for accurate billing processes. * We are looking for a compassionate individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to providing excellent patient care while supporting the overall efficiency of our healthcare team.
