Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
• Perform patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage case and hospice care for individuals with advancing age, frailty, and serious illness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
• Additional certifications relevant to specialty areas.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• May require flexibility for on-call duties or variable shifts depending on patient care needs.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule may include day, evening, night, or rotating shifts based on clinical setting requirements.
• Shift assignments determined by department needs and patient census.
