Night shift weekender. 72 hours per pay period. Required holiday rotation. Hospital OB department staffed to AWHONN Standards. Required to float to other nursing departments as needed to meet patient care needs.

Provide individualized patient- and family-focused care throughout the patient's stay, anticipating changes in care needs. Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and competence in required registered nurse competencies, including thorough knowledge of medications administered. Assess labor progression and manage induction of labor and cervical ripening. Perform fetal heart monitoring and neonatal assessments. Recognize and manage neonatal sepsis. Manage obstetric emergencies, including prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, and placental abruption.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) REQUIRED. Current Wisconsin RN license REQUIRED. BLS certification within 3 months of hire REQUIRED. NRP certification within 6 months of hire REQUIRED. ACLS certification within 1 year of hire REQUIRED. Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification within 2 years of hire REQUIRED. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. OB experience preferred.
