Shipping and Receiving Associate
Location: Rockford, IL Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday – Friday

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Requirements: Experience using handheld scanners and inventory management systems. Ability to safely handle materials and follow established warehouse procedures. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Job Duties:
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety policies and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.
- Process material transactions and shipping requests generated through MRP systems and project demands.
- Verify incoming, outgoing, and consolidated shipments using handheld scanners and computer-based inventory systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and logistics processes.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on systems, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Assemble and kit multi-component orders according to MRP requirements.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and audit activities.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas by following 5S and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow across the facility.
