Registered Nurse - Hospice

This position requires urgent coverage for hospice care services. The role involves working full-time with a rotating weekend schedule. The nurse will be responsible for case management of approximately 25 to 30 patients. Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic surgeries, wound care, chronic and acute heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, post-surgical care, and IV antibiotic administration. Support will be available from scheduling and clinical management teams. Technology used includes an electronic medical record system and IV pumps provided through a vendor. Flexibility is required, and the nurse may need to support other agency locations as necessary. All candidates should be prepared to work holidays if the assignment coincides with major holiday dates. A rotation for on-call duty typically occurs every 3 to 4 weeks. Business casual attire or scrubs are acceptable for this role.
