About the Position

Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine locums coverage in Texas with in house daytime shifts and overnight call. Inpatient role with a defined patient load and 30 minute call response time.

Highlights

• Defined workload, about 15 patients per shift with about 3 admits
• In house 12 hour day coverage with overnight call coverage built into the rotation
• Level 3 trauma facility, inpatient Pulmonary and Critical Care coverage
• Potential for ongoing coverage, possibly one week per month as future dates are set

Practice Setting

• Inpatient Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine coverage
• 26 bed department
• Level 3 trauma facility
• Support includes 0 to 1 APP

Schedule

• Day shifts are in house
• Overnight coverage is on call with a 30 minute response time requirement
• Initial coverage is structured as weeklong blocks, additional future blocks may follow

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Texas medical license required, will not wait for license
• Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ABLS
