As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You may support hospital operations by responding to security-related situations, including assisting with visitor concerns and sensitive areas. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and the reporting of security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken while maintaining a professional presence in patient care areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
