Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center, requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center with 4 dedicated cath labs and a 6-bed recovery unit
• Labs staffed with nurses only, no techs
• Case types include LHC, RHC, PCI, TAVR, Mitra Clips, Watchman, EKOS, and L & R support devices
• Schedule is M-F 4x10hr dayshifts (07:00-19:00) with minimal night/weekend call
• On-call apartment available

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact)
• ACLS certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Epic charting experience required
• Scrub experience not required but considered a bonus

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include administering moderate sedation, circulating, documenting cases, and pre/post procedure monitoring
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
