About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified CT Tech in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Asheville, NC as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment for diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. The role requires collaboration with emergency, stroke, pediatric, and inpatient teams to deliver timely imaging support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
• Current ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic CT and invasive CT procedures.
• Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging.
• Familiarity with GE CT systems and Medrad injectors preferred.
• Experience with Cerner, RadiAnt/PACS or similar radiology information systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac CT experience preferred.
• Pediatric imaging experience preferred.
• Venipuncture and interventional CT experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 18:30 - 07:00.
• Night shift staffing typically 2-3 technologists plus a radiology assistant.
• Possible weekend shifts and potential rotation to other shifts.
• Potential on-call requirement of approximately 12 hours per month.

Practicing as a CT technologist in this role supports timely diagnosis and treatment across emergency, stroke, trauma, pediatric, neuro, MSK, body, cardiac, and interventional imaging. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver imaging that directly influences patient outcomes.
