QA Technician

Our client, a leader in medical device repair and manufacturing, is seeking a QA Technician to join their team. As a QA Technician, you will be part of the KCI Repair Services department supporting quality assurance and device repair processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on medical VAC equipment for internal and external customers.

• Execute quality control procedures to ensure all repaired VAC devices meet company standards before returning to customers.

• Provide technical support over the phone to customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.

• Assist in research, development, testing, and inspection of new products to ensure quality and reliability.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, monitor tools and equipment, and adhere to safety regulations at all times.

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related repair environment.

• Knowledge of electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and test procedures.

• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

• Willingness to pass a fitness test to meet physical demands of the role.
