Job Summary The Lead HVAC Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. This role leads a team of technicians, provides mentorship, and ensures all projects are completed on time and in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Lead, train, and supervise HVAC technicians in the field. Perform complex HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial clients. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide solutions in a timely and effective manner. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and addressing their needs. Ensure that all work complies with local codes and regulations. Order and manage inventory of necessary parts and equipment. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Complete service reports, job documentation, and time tracking accurately. Assist in setting schedules and dispatching technicians for assignments. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide on‑call support during after‑hours as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in HVAC preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. EPA Certification (Section 608) is required. Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Ability to pass drug screening. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
