Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Catheterization Laboratory Technician II to join a busy Cardiac Cath Lab team in San Marcos, TX. This travel role requires a seasoned professional skilled in supporting diverse diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel

• Ensure lab, equipment, and supplies are meticulously prepared and patient documentation is accurate
• Maintain a stringent sterile technique during procedures
• Act as a resource and preceptor for junior technicians, sharing expertise in advanced procedures
• Ensure major equipment is operational and report issues through the chain of command
• Participate in daily room checks and supply stocking
• Collaborate with the procedure team and Cath Lab Lead/Coordinator to ensure patient care and efficiency
• Maintain proficiency in cath lab equipment and support physician during procedures
• Adhere to aseptic technique and organizational safety policies
• Act as a radiation safety representative
• Promote and serve with respect to core values

Requirements of the Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel

• Associate's degree in a related healthcare field preferred
• 2 years of Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only) required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA only) required
• At least one of the specified certifications (e.g., RCIS, RCES, RCS, etc.) is required
