Registered Nurse ICU

Critical Care Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for a 12-week night assignment in a 14-bed ICU. The RN will provide specialized care for critically ill patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical diagnoses, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and manage complex dysrhythmias to maintain patient stability.
• Monitor pulmonary artery lines and Swan-Ganz catheters for hemodynamic assessment.
• Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation safely.
• Provide high-quality care to patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, COPD, COVID, and post-surgical conditions.
• Respond rapidly to code and emergency situations as part of the ICU code team.
• Collaborate with intensivists, NPs, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid MA RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a similar setting.
• Proven skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; Cerner experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (18:45-7:15).
