Fiber Glass Systems Job Posting

Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV, is hiring for day shift positions. These positions are routinely scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm. This entry-level position is located in Andrews, TX and ensures the safe and quality fabrication of our tanks and wastewater products before shipment to our customers.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Applies fiberglass laminate to tank components.
• Positions and installs fittings into fiberglass tank shells.
• Applies fiberglass laminates to complete tank structures.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Utilizes safe work habits.
• Wears appropriate PPE.
• Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime & shift work as required.
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required.
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
• Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
• Standing, walking, bending/stooping, push/pull, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
